Are you an accurate and motivated administrative assistant with a passion for logistics? We are looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in logistics.

As an administrative assistant in logistics, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of our logistics processes. You will support the logistics department in maintaining inventories, processing orders and coordinating transports.

As Warehouse Admin you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Responsible for efficient planning of all shipments within NL and EU;
  • Making a daily planning of all shipments;
  • Arranging domestic transport;
  • Selecting and screening carriers and assessing them for performance management;
  • Coordinating and executing truck and express shipments;
  • Monitoring lead times of bookings;
  • Monitoring quality;

Wat wij vragen

  • Professional education (MBO+) in the field of freight forwarding;
  •  3 - 5 years of experience in an operational role in freight forwarding;
  • Knowledge of customs, export processes and industry regulations;
  • Effective user of IT systems used in the freight forwarding industry (both operational, billing and business tools);
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (reading, speaking and writing);
  • VGB prior to start of employment which must be renewed every five years;
