We have therefore drawn up this privacy statement. We treat and secure the personal information entrusted to us with the utmost care. With this privacy statement, we provide you with insight into how we handle your personal data in relevant situations in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. (and our branches in Amsterdam, Breda, The Hague, Eindhoven, Enschede, Flevoland, Leeuwarden, Rotterdam, Schiphol, Tilburg, Utrecht, Belgium, Germany and the UK, Senior Drivers, SeniorStaffing, and TopTalent Detachering). We are located in Breda, Ginnekenweg 32. We are responsible for processing your data. We are the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR and therefore have control over the processing of personal data and determine the purpose and means of processing.

We sometimes engage other companies to perform services for us. In these situations, we remain responsible for the processing of your personal data. We enter into contractual agreements with these companies regarding the handling of your personal data, so that your privacy remains safeguarded.

3. Technical information

When you visit our website, the website automatically collects information about our visitors (and their devices). 6. Why do we collect your personal data

Your personal data is used to provide the HR services offered to you as effectively as possible, including temporary staffing, secondment, mediation, online staffing, payroll administration, personnel management, personal development & employability, and recruitment & selection.

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Bringing supply and demand together in the labor market.
  • Informing you of interesting offers regarding our products and services and those of third parties.
  • Registering and processing hours worked in our payroll system. To be able to assess your suitability and availability in connection with brokering permanent or temporary work or an assignment, which may also involve the use of test results.
  • To contact you regarding commercial offers, newsletters, and promotional campaigns that may be of interest to you, exclusively if you have opted in.
  • To enter into and maintain an employment or personnel/placement relationship with you and to carry out the relevant administration for this purpose.
  • to fulfill our reintegration obligations and to meet (the objective imposed by the government) of helping persons with a significant distance from the labor market to find work.
  • To be able to record an assignment with the client in an agreement with the client and to maintain and fulfill the agreement with the client.
  • To process data on behalf of our clients in the context of a pre-employment screening.
  • To promote your personal development and employability, including training, education, and testing.
  • For management purposes, including management information, conducting internal controls and business security, and performing audits and accounting checks.
  • For quality purposes such as certification.
  • To apply for subsidies, premium discounts, etc.
  • If we have entered into an employee or personnel/placement relationship with you, for compliance with laws and regulations, including but not limited to identification, labor law, tax and social security legislation, fraud prevention, and national and international sanctions legislation.

7. What personal data do we collect from you?

We may process the personal data listed below if you are a job seeker, candidate, seconded employee, (temporary) employee, self-employed person, and/or business associate of ours. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is accurate and up to date.

Job seeker or candidate

  • Name, address, and place of residence details, email address, telephone number, and other contact details
  • Date of birth, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information regarding education, internships, and work experience
  • Data regarding training courses and/or tests that you have completed yourself or through us
  • Data regarding availability and leave
  • Other data that may be relevant in the context of assessing the candidate's suitability, for example, references and testimonials and data concerning work experience
  • On a voluntary basis, other content with which you present yourself (video, photo)
  • Data other than those mentioned above, the processing of which is required pursuant to or necessary for the application of the law

Seconded employee, (temporary) employee, and self-employed entrepreneur

If you can work for us or our clients, are working for us, or have worked for us, we may process the following data:

  • Name, address, and place of residence details, email address, telephone number, bank and/or giro account number, and other contact details
  • Data of birth, age, gender
  • Curriculum vitae (CV), information regarding education, internships, and work experience
  • Data regarding training courses and/or tests that you have completed yourself or through us
  • Data regarding availability and leave
  • Nationality, BSN & proof of identity (copy of proof of identity), any work permit
  • Data in the context of a pre-employment screening
  • Data regarding the nature and content of previous employment placements, as well as regarding their termination
  • Other data that may be relevant in the context of assessing the candidate's suitability, for example references and testimonials and data regarding work experience
  • Other data related to personnel, salary, and absence records
  • On a voluntary basis, other content with which you present yourself (video, photo)
  • Data other than those mentioned above, the processing of which is required pursuant to or necessary for the application of the law

8. Third parties

We may transfer your personal data to other entities of Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V., our clients, subcontractors (for example, data processors) providing services or performing assignments on behalf of Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V., suppliers, government agencies, and other business relations. And in all other cases where we may be required to do so, for example by a court order or a judicial judgment.

The provision of personal data takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation, and/or for the performance of the agreement in accordance with the purposes as mentioned under "Why do we collect your personal data?".

Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. We have taken the necessary measures to ensure that the transferred personal data are adequately protected.

Access to and/or modify data

In addition, you may contact us at any time to supplement, correct, or delete your data. Should it unexpectedly turn out that we have provided incorrect personal data about you, we will rectify this.

If you have your own private web environment or a portal, you may also be able to (partially) supplement or correct your data yourself.

When we have changed your personal data, we will notify you of this.

Restricting the processing of your data

If you do not agree with the content of the data we hold about you, you may submit a request to temporarily restrict the processing of your data. We will then refrain from distributing your data until, in your opinion, it is in order again. You may submit a request for processing restriction at any time via email, telephone, or by letter.

When we restrict the processing of your personal data, we will notify you of this.

Right to data portability

You may request the personal data we hold about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format via email, telephone, or by letter. You are completely free to transfer this information to third parties.

Right to be forgotten

If you no longer wish to use our services, you may submit a request for the deletion of all your personal data. You may request us to delete all your data at any time via email, telephone, or by letter.

Additionally, you may withdraw any consent you may have given to process your data at any time. We will cease processing your personal data for which you had given consent. However, withdrawing your consent does not affect processing that has already taken place.

Procedure, response time and costs

We will endeavor to process your requests as mentioned in this chapter as quickly as possible, but no later than within one month. We are obliged to verify your identity before your requests can be fulfilled. In principle, your requests will be processed electronically, unless this is not possible or you request otherwise.

In principle, we will not charge you any costs for processing your aforementioned requests, unless your requests are excessive, manifestly unfounded, or if you request additional copies when exercising your right of access.

10. Security

We make every effort to optimally secure your personal data against unlawful use. We do this by means of physical, administrative, organizational, and technical measures. For example: only authorized persons have access to the data. If and to the extent that data is provided to data processors who provide services or carry out assignments on its behalf, Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. agreed with them that they will also optimally secure the personal data.

11. Retention period

Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of processing and in accordance with statutory retention periods.

12. Questions, comments, complaints or (suspected) data breach

If you have questions, comments or complaints regarding the protection of your personal data by us, you can contact us via e-mail, telephone or by letter. If you disagree with our use of your personal data, you can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

13. Data breach

If there is a (suspected) data breach, we request that you report this immediately via e-mail, telephone or by letter.

14. Changes

Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. reserves the right to adapt or amend this privacy statement. None of the provisions of this privacy statement are intended to create any obligation or agreement between Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. and a data subject.
