The legal employer role always rests with Recruit a Student. As an employer, you only need to focus on your business.
Am I employer or self-employed when working through Recruit a Student?
When working through Recruit a Student, you are always employed. Recruit a Student is your legal employer and enters into an employment contract with you as a temporary worker. You are therefore not self-employed (freelancer) and do not need to send invoices or file your own taxes. We take care of that for you!
This also means you accrue holiday entitlement, are entitled to sick pay and receive your salary weekly.
