Over de functie
As an Expedition Employee at our client, you play a crucial role in a large distribution center, where the pace is always high. Instead of waiting to see if your package will arrive on time, you will have the opportunity to be proactive and make sure everyone receives their package on time! By working accurately and pursuing efficiency, you will contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of goods.
In addition to loading and unloading cars and trucks, you will also have the opportunity to take on other tasks within the distribution center. This can range from sorting and checking packages to organizing the storage area and assisting with packing shipments. You will work with modern logistics systems and equipment, gaining valuable experience in this dynamic industry.
To be successful in this role, it is important that you are physically able to lift heavy boxes and that you are motivated to work hard. Your working hours will fall on Mondays and/or Tuesdays from 6:30pm-3:00pm, which means you can devote the rest of your day to other commitments, such as studying or another side job.
