Student weekend Job – Technical Machine Operator (16 -24 hours)

Over de functie
You will be working in a specialized cold-storage environment of -24°C. Of course, appropriate protective clothing and equipment will be provided. You will work together with a technical colleague to monitor and support multiple automated logistics processes inside a large distribution environment.
Your responsibilities include:
Assisting in the operation of a fully automated warehouse system
Monitoring and supporting 13 automated pallet vehicles (VMs)
Supervising roller and chain conveyor systems
Performing basic machine checks and simple first-line maintenance
Monitoring production quality and identifying potential malfunctions
Reporting technical issues and helping find practical solutions
Supporting the team when unexpected technical challenges occur
Every day is different - the automated systems sometimes present unexpected challenges, and together with the team you will help find the right solution.
This position is ideal for students who are available to work during weekends. The shifts are:
Friday: 23:00 – 07:00 (night shift)
Saturday:
07:00 – 15:00
15:00 – 23:00
Sunday:
15:00 – 23:00
Depending on availability and planning, you will work multiple shifts during the weekend.

Because this role involves working with automated systems and technical equipment, we are looking for candidates with an interest in technology.
You are someone who;
Is currently studying in a technical field such as engineering, mechatronics, logistics engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar direction
Have basic technical understanding and enjoy working with machines and automated systems
Is interested in learning how complex automated logistics systems operate
Is comfortable assisting with basic technical checks and first-line troubleshooting
Like solving practical problems and thinking in solutions when technical issues occur
Work well in a multicultural team environment
Is reliable and responsible with attendance and work attitude
